LYF Innovation Ltd. is hiring a full-time Research & Design Director.

Research & Design Director 

 Job Duties:

• Develop the computer vision pipeline on Horizon X3 AI computing board. Implement object-detection and semantic segmentation multitask neural networks.
• Research and design the system architecture based on Baidu Apollo. Develop the global planner and local planner of the robot on ROS2.
• Define the communication protocol and develop the driver for the hardware.
• Build simulation infrastructure and the automated regression testing pipeline for internal testing and concept proving.
• Perform integration tests and quality control. Develop or update specifications for new product requirements and ongoing product change requirements.
• Collaborate with team members, engineers, and management to optimize production process and improve production efficiency.
• Conduct testing of prototypes and products using specialized tools for safety and specifications. Correct issues occurring in mass production phase.
• Provide continued development of engineering specifications and standards.

Job Requirements:

Master's Degree in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
